The History of Grasso's presence in the UK was recently discovered. The first UK office was opened at the end of 1919 in London and Henry Engel, a good friend of Henri Grasso became the manager. This office ran until a world wide recession forced it's closure in 1923. Sales of Grasso Compressors continued after this time directly from the Head office in Holland.

The UK Office was restablised in the early 1970's and was managed by Tony Noyes. The UK business has grown since then and Grasso has become one of the largest suppliers of Industrial Refrigeration Products in the UK and Ireland with a staff of eight at its present location situated on the outskirts of Ross.
